Counselling Skills - 2 day workshop 

Trainer: Andy Williams

This is an introductory course, open to anyone who is interested in learning about the basics of counselling skills is also useful for those interested in learning about themselves - counselling skills can be used both at work and in your own personal life.

Interpersonal communication, personal development issues and the application of theory to practice are all explored. You will be introduced to a basics of counselling theory and selected approaches to the process including empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard. You will develop skills such as active listening and reflection through developing self awareness and self reflection.

If you are considering a career in counselling, this course is an ideal starting point. If you work in health care, mental health, social services, prisons, education, human resources or have line management responsibilities, this course is ideal for you. 


Timings: 9.30 - 4.30pm both days
Cost: £140 for the 2 day course and includes lunch and refreshments.
