What's it all about?:
MageHack is a free 24-hour development meetup in the heart of London - and is also the official kick-off of MagentoLive UK! The purpose of the hackathon is to provide a fun, community environment to learn and practice Magento development by pitching ideas - forming teams - building a prototype of a hack - and sharing the results.
Organized by the London Magento Users Group.
Theme: Simplicity

This year's theme is "Simplicity." Build an extension to take something complicated and make it simple. Projects can be submitted in one of these 3 tracks:
- Simplicity in user experience / design
- Simplicity in workflow / process
- Simplicity in code
Schedule
Saturday, 12 July -- Day 1
- 12 noon: Registration check in, plug-in, and grab a lunch.
- 1 - 2 pm: Project pitches -- team organization -- competition guidelines.
- 2 pm: Start Hacking!
- 6 pm: Dinner.
- 9 – 10 pm: Pub break.
- 10 pm – overnight: Coffee and continue hacking.
Sunday, 13 July -- Day 2
- 8 am: Breakfast.
- 12 pm: Snacks.
- 1 pm: Stop hacking!
- 1 – 2pm: Project presentations.
- 2 pm: Winners announced.

- Team sizes are 2 - 6 developers.

One winning project will be chosen in each of the tracks:
- Best simplified user experience / design extension
- Best simplified workflow / process extension
- Best simplified code extension
Bragging rights and the envy of the Magento community will be yours... until the challenge begins again at MageHack 2015. Also, one of these 3 projects will be selected for this year's Grand Prize...
Grand Prize:
- The winning team will get free admission to MagentoLive UK and a speaking slot to present their winning extension.
