If you want to present at the event then please fill out the application document at the bottom of this website and send it to your organisation who referred you to the event, or send it directly to reijo.poldc@wayra.org. Top 10 start-ups will be chosen by the event organisers.  

You could have the chance to present in front of accelerators, VC’s, marketers and top business professionals as well as other entrepreneurs to get practical feedback about your start-up.

Velocity brings together entrepreneurs from across the UK with the participation of universities, accelerators, investors and marketers. The event is designed for start-ups that want real feedback, focusing on all business areas like product and strategy through direct audience feedback.


Top ten projects are selected to present, those who are not selected are encouraged to come along, learn from the presenters and network with industry professionals in a fun and open environment.          

The process: Each organisation that participates puts forward executive summaries which will be reviewed by the event organisers on the 21st of October. They will then be scored from 1-10 and the highest scoring team will present at Velocity.

18.00 – 18.30 Doors Open (Pre drinks and networking) 

18:30 - 18.40 Introduction on behalf of all partners

18.40 – 19.30 10 start-ups present and receive feedback

19.30 – 19.50 Break 20 minutes

19.55 – 20.25 Topic – Discussing start-up pain points and how accelerators and investors can further address these topics

20.25 – 22.00 Drinks & networking
